At exit #109 on Interstate 90, get off onto Highway 200 towards Bonner. There is an enormous truck stop on the right that has an amazing beer/wine section, Montana souvenirs, books, etc.
Continue on HWY200, go past the town of Bonner and Kettlehouse Brewery/Amphitheater will be on your left.
Check your odometer. In roughly 9 miles, on the left hand side, go past the brown and green Taxidermy School log building, keep going, GOLD CREEK RD. / FS #126 is the next left turn. It’s unmarked and very easy to miss. The most identifiable feature will be a garbage dumpster at the bottom of the road.
Reset your tripometer to 0. Continue steadily up the mountain on this dirt road FS#126. Stay straight, and don’t veer off on smaller roads. After 2.5 miles, on your right will be a green gate with black and white “The Hohnstead” sign. Come on in!
Continue on Anarchy Avenue for about 1 minute. You’ll pass a couple of buildings and then a garden on your left. There is another metal black and white “The Hohnstead” sign pointing you towards the right. Take a right at the large “7012 ANARCHY AVE” rock towards the red Commons Area building.
Please park in your designated cabin spot (if you’re not sure which cabin is yours, check the name sign next to the front door).
Come into the Commons Area lounge (the green door), sign the waiver, connect to Wifi, unpack groceries, etc.
In the case of self check-in, please revisit the self check-in video to get acquainted with your cabins and our property or you can always knock on the green and white flower door inside the Commons Area Lounge and one of the hosts will gladly show you around. -
