What is Glamping ?

Glamping /ˈɡlampiNG/

noun

A form of camping involving accommodation and facilities more luxurious than those associated with traditional camping.

We like to call The HohnStead a rustic Glamping Cabins resort, rather than luxurious, but to us, luxury means having 100+ acres to roam, peaceful forest sounds, distant neighbors, and the freedom to be a wood-splitting, off-the-land living, hunting bad-ass. So if glamping at The HohnStead sounds like your cup of tea, then ditch the city and we’ll see you in the woods.

What you WON’T find inside The HohnStead Glamping Cabins

❌ Cookie-cutter cabins. All 5 of our cabins are different because we love the creativity and the challenge of building unique cabins.

❌ No privacy. Each one of our cabins is at least 75 yards away from the other, giving you plenty of privacy, relaxation, and enjoyment of being secluded in the woods.

❌ Lack of hosts or hosts with lame vibes. We live on the property, can check you in, or let you self check-in. We’ve hosted over 500 guests and are pretty socially aware of when guests want more privacy, or if they are looking to connect.
