Pet-friendly, hand-built cabins on 100 forested acres, just 25 minutes from Missoula, montana.
Tucked into 100 acres of serene Montana forest, The Hohnstead Glamping Cabins offers an adults-only sanctuary designed for couples getaways, wellness retreats, and forest-inspired healing. Our five handcrafted, pet-friendly cabins combine privacy, comfort, and community, giving you the perfect setting to slow down, recharge on Forest Therapy, and reconnect with nature and your loved (and furry) ones.
Start your mornings with coffee on your porch, spend the day exploring trails or try your hand at archery or splitting wood, and end with stargazing in the hot tub, or roast s’mores and share stories around the campfire.
This isn’t a hotel, it’s a reset.

The Hohnstead is a small, family-run business built by hand and by heart
As we enter our 10th year of hosting, every cabin and gathering space reflects years of learning, problem-solving, and care — with only the Commons Area slab poured by others.
Built slowly, often with reused materials, this place was never rushed. The real reward has been the stories, connections, and quiet moments shared with guests who value slowing down as much as we do.
